Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I was impressed by how quickly I had this system up and running. Some dual-camera setups feel like a weekend project, but the installation here was straightforward and didn’t require me to overthink the wiring or the mounting process. The video quality is where this really stands out. The footage from both the front and the rear is sharp and easy to watch back. I noticed that the details stay crisp even when there is a lot of motion on the road, which is exactly what I want if I ever actually need to use the footage for something important. The screen on the unit itself is bright enough to see clearly from the driver’s seat without being a distraction.”
Customer Review: “Our old dash cam did its job, but this one is on a whole different level. The 4K resolution from the dual cameras are crystal clear, and we finally feel confident we’ll capture important details if anything happens. The long cord reaches the back of our vehicle easily, and the dual-screen display is surprisingly helpful. The system is very stable, with smooth, uninterrupted recording and a reliable power connection. Both the front and rear cameras work beautifully together, and the dual‑screen view makes it easy to keep an eye on everything in real time. Easy to install, intuitive to use, and genuinely impressive quality.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “The media could not be loaded. This REDTIGER F17 3-channel dash cam is exactly what I was looking for. The front, interior, and rear cameras all have great video quality — super clear during the day and still very usable at night. Being able to cover every angle gives a lot of peace of mind, especially for work and daily driving. Install was pretty straightforward, and everything you need is included. The wiring took a little time to run clean, but once it’s set up, it looks great and works flawlessly. I also like the wide-angle coverage and how easy it is to review footage. The system runs smooth and starts recording automatically every time I start the truck. Overall, this is a solid, reliable dash cam setup for the price. If you want full coverage and good quality, this is definitely worth it!”
Customer Review: “I love this dash cam! I bought one in 2024 and gave it to my mom when we both got new cars. I tried others dash cams and all were returned for various reasons and finally I said “what was I thinking?? This one was great!” (Doesn’t have touchscreen or voice control but honestly not really missing much with those) Installation: very easy to install by yourself. You do not need to go to a shop or have a lot of car knowledge or experience. If you have a friend to help, all the better so you can have them hold the front camera as you place the rear 😊. Super fast to install. Now, a few things that make the difference between this dash cam and others:*3 channels with loop recoding donations up to 5 minutes. All cameras record simultaneously (unless you turn the inside off then only back and front) and can do single view or split screen. If you don’t want the inside camera on you can go into the settings and turn it off. Love the inside camera when I have my friends kids in the car or my nephews so I can watch them and also a deterrent to them acting up knowing they are on camera *all 3 cameras are super clear!! Even if you are driving into the rising or setting Sun, it won’t mess up the recording. Back cam is great for additional backup camera as well as seeing who is riding your bumper. Inside is great if you have kids or want to record a fun trip with friends or an important conversation (those who know know what I mean)*Records speed as well as date and time stamp: great if you need that to help you out of a ticket. Also has built-in GPS. All this records without it blocking the screen with numbers and symbols (wifi symbol, mic, memory card, speed, time…) unless you watch the recording and it is a small text on the bottom. I have tried others where it doesn’t go away, numbers and symbols an over the screen and you can’t see squat.*Screensaver: this just turns the screen off after the set amount of time. You can’t change it in the settings or if you don’t want the screen turning off during the day but do at night you can just touch the power button on the side (don’t hold it) and the screen turns off but cameras stay on. I don’t drive too much at night but when I do it is a great feature so you don’t have additional light interference while driving. Others I have tried did not have that feature. Had to go into settings each time to change it.*G-Sensor: not too sensitive like a lot of others (hit a pebble and it locks the even like an accident). The sensitivity can be adjusted in the settings, I keep mine on low so it doesn’t go off when I go over bumps. Most of us don’t live on pristine roads and having a sensor that goes off from railroad tracks to manhole covers to a dip in the road…turning it off is pointless, you want this feature if you get into an accident so it won’t be recorded over if the memory card runs out of space.*IR and nighttime: this isn’t the worlds best BUT unless you want to spend $300-$500 it won’t be. It is really good! At night I can get a great view of what is behind me, not a lot of glare, also great for an additional backup camera at night and in bad weather. Inside camera at night works really well. I originally had it in a 3 row Pilot and could see into the 3rd row without an issue at all.*Parking safety: starts recording if someone leans on your car, taps it or breaks in (don’t use that bc you need another part to have that work but great to have the option of you are worried about where you are leaving your car)*Volume: can turn the mic off so you aren’t recording all conversations (or your VERY off key singing haha) The App: I don’t really use it bc my phone connects to my car via Bluetooth and having to switch back and forth and then I don’t have my hands free capabilities. It does help when installing the cameras to make sure the positions are exactly where you want them before sticking them on the glass. It is also nice to have so you can download videos from the camera right to the app so they don’t get recorded over and you don’t have to take the card out. And you have them stored if you ever need them for other reasons say court for tickets or accident reports. Seriously, I have recommended this camera to a lot of friends and other family members. I would not have put one in my mother’s car if I didn’t trust this camera!!!”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “We purchased the F7N Redtiger camera about 18 months ago and it has now paid for itself 100x over when it provided evidence to the police and insurance that my wife was not the one at fault in an accident that totaled her vehicle and the other party lied to the police. My wife was going to get the ticket after the officer talked to the other party first, but she was able to show the officer the cam video and they reversed course and issued the ticket to the other party. Then the other party lied to their insurance, but after providing the video to their insurance, the adjuster immediately accepted 100% responsibility. Easy to install and with clearly written English instructions. Great suction cup with integrated GPS antenna makes installation a breeze. Cam will slide off mount if you want to hide it while parked without removing the entire mount. Crystal clear video, front at 4k and back at 2k, produce high resolution video where you can read license plates and even identify who was driving another vehicle. Even more importantly, it has a good app that you can use to directly download video from the cam without pulling the card and taking it to a computer. Just in case you are in an accident, you can instantly download the relevant video to your phone and show to Law Enforcement and e-mail to your insurance company. This is hugely important so a ticket can be issued to the at-fault party on scene as my wife did. If you can’t show the officer when writing the report, they may issue the ticket to the wrong party or no one if they can’t figure out who was at fault. If this happens, it’s a long up-hill battle to get the other party’s insurance to pay out and the police will never cancel an incorrectly issued ticket, so it forces you to go to court to defend yourself. If you are in a serious accident (if anyone goes to the hospital, it’s serious), the officer may confiscate the SD card or even the whole camera for evidence. You may not get it back for weeks or even months. Sometimes they get lost an then you have nothing. Have a copy safely on your phone so you can give it to your insurance company and lawyer immediately! Buy the REDTIGER F7N Dash Cam Hardwire Kit to go with it if you want 24/7 monitoring without killing your car battery. Never wonder who backed into you in a parking lot or keyed your car if it happens to you. Some things that set Redtiger apart from the others: They actually have tech support. We had an issue with one camera not liking our SD card and contacted support to see if we had a bum Cam or bad setting as the issue was intermittent. Turns out it was just a faulty card after running a write test on the computer. Not a big issue as SD cards are cheap, but good to know that if you have an issue that Redtiger does support what they sell. Software updates. We’ve owned the F7N for about 18 months and have received software updates to improve functionality. The cam was great when we got it and even better now with new features added. Proof in the pudding: We liked our F7N so much we just bought another Redtiger cam, a F7N Touch, for a new (to us) vehicle and it’s great too. Note: I wasn’t paid for this review nor given a demo unit or anything else. I’m only a satisfied customer that is enjoying the premium quality and features at a great price vs the big-name competitors and their high prices.”
Customer Review: “For me not knowing what dashcam to get, I think this was a great choice. The small capacity SD card is a letdown but for what you’re paying, it works great. Not cheap, not overpriced. It has come in handy quite a few times. Easy plug in and just suction mount to the window. Great video quality too, it helped my local police locate a stolen vehicle. And no need to worry if you live in cold areas cause it got down to -20°F here and the camera had no issues.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “My wife and I just purchased a new car, so investing in a dash cam was a must. This one certainly gives the most for the price. The front, cabin, and rear cameras are all crystal clear, and the bonus of GPS monitoring and speed tracking makes this camera perfect for what we need. There is plenty of space on the SD card, and being able to connect to the camera via wifi to view and save files makes things very simple. Installation was a breeze; I just plugged into the 12V car outlet and ran the cable through the bottom of the dash and up the A-pillar. The camera just suctions to the windshield, so it can be easily moved if needed. This camera supports the parking mode, but you would need to hardwire it into the car’s wiring, and I opted not to do that at the moment. Overall, I think this camera is great and gives me a little more peace of mind when on the road.”
Customer Review: “Clear! Stable! Reliable! That’s my summary of it. Both the front and rear cameras are high-definition, and even in rainy weather, the license plates of cars ahead remain clear. The in-car camera has sufficient resolution, providing clear night vision even at night. The WDR technology is truly effective; even under bright sunlight during the day, there were no overexposed or completely black images when entering or exiting underground parking garages. The 170-degree field of view provides wide coverage, reducing blind spots. Connecting to a mobile phone via the 5.8G channel provides almost zero latency for viewing live footage. The emergency lock function is very sensitive; during a sudden stop, it immediately protected the video footage. 24-hour parking monitoring combined with motion detection makes it excellent value for money!”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Great Dash Cam, easy to install App connection is decent, you have to be close to connect. The video and picture quality is good. The voice control works, you just have to speak up or have minimal background noise. The static stickers work great and the adhesive is crazy strong. Make sure you have your spot picked out before mounting. I had to readjust mine and the adhesive pad needed to be replaced before placing. The wire tool works well to tuck the wires in and the little clips work to hold the wires where you need them.Only complaint is about the picture quality is when you download and zoom in it gets grainy. When you say “TAKE A PICTURE” all 4 cameras take a picture not just the front view. I have it plugged in a constant power port so even with the engine off it continues to record. No additional parts required. All in all, I’m satisfied with the camera.”
Customer Review: “The media could not be loaded. Cam was great for my mercedes. I loved the Night Vision functionality. Installation was easy but when it came to the hardwiring took it to the professionals. Had to buy the hardwiring kit for $35 but they did a great job in the installation. It hasn’t interfered with my Benz’ security features and works seamlesssly with it. The only thing I regret is that it doesn’t have cloud availability but aside that it is very great. It captures like a pro from all angles.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “The media could not be loaded. I saw this and decided to give it a try! Have been using it for few weeks. I can say that I am very pleased with the quality. Not only in the product but also in the quality in the images, video, and audio. Installation was simple. My own mistake and didn’t use the cable that came with it. Had the used past equipment that didn’t support 4 channels, only 3. For those who have previous equipment already, the equipment that came with the cam will need to be utilized. Specifically the long cable that links the front and rear cameras. A simple switched of the cables everything works without a problem. The app is great! Very user friendly. But if you use a VPN that will need to be turned off during use. With the app you can: view all data collected, can view save crop the first 30 sec. And so on or save to your device and do anything. One note with the 4 channels it is more data and will use space on the as card. So if there is an event you’d like to capture, get on the app sooner than later, otherwise it will get recorded over. I haven’t quite figured out the pix Plate feature yet but i have faith it will do just fine. In my area this time of year, there is a fair amount of my driving is early in the morning or evening. I have to say the quality of images, video is great. I’m no videographer but for the purposes of this device ( extra insurance, if you will) is a great tool. So many settings, do your research, reading and set it up how you like. I have mine in collision mode, which will turn off after about 5 minutes and detect collision, you can have it set on motion but in what I found will stay on Depending on the sensitivity you set it to. Also on this note I have found that depending on the sensitivity it will record anything that stimulates the sensor. For example, hitting a pot hole use of your horn or simply getting into your vehicle. Not all that often but if you are to slam doors could trip the sensor. Not sure if there is a way to mitigate that. But for the intended purpose of this unit I don’t find this minor difficulty a big problem. All the hardware works great! you must use the electrostatic stickers to install the camera mounts. otherwise if you don’t and say you have to replace your windshield will be a bit harder to remove. I say this as I didn’t on my last one and had to use a razor blade to remove. Also if you are installing the rear camera on a back window with a rear defroster cut down the electrostatic sticker. Hope this helps. I will update in time with any other areas i may have missed as i have only had it in use for a few weeks. I could go on, but if you’ve been want to, give it a try! The customer support is good. A slight delay as they are but will respond as stated on their website/app.”
Customer Review: “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic 4-View Dash Cam – Best Vantrue Yet! I’ve owned several Vantrue cameras, but this model is easily the best. The two-camera system gives four distinct views — front, rear, and interior angles — with much better image quality than the fake 360° cameras I’ve tried before. Setup was quick, and the Vantrue app makes it super easy to grab photos or videos anytime without removing the SD card. Both the video clarity and app connection are solid, day or night. Excellent design, simple install, and reliable performance — this dash cam just works exactly how it should. Highly recommend!”

This is easy to install and provides front, rear, and cabin recording all in one. I love it and is necessary in today’s world with all the crazy drivers out there.”
Customer Review: “I installed this into my Honda Accord. One of the big benefits of this camera is that it’s a Wi-Fi app driven so you can easily connected to your phone and look at the videos instead of having to pull the microSD card or search through the menus of a dash cam that doesn’t give you the ability to quickly locate the video you need. This has dual camera is one facing forward one facing back so you have a higher level of protection. The loop recording works good I’ve tested it over the last 3 days and went back and looked at the loop recordings and played them to make sure that everything is working seamlessly. A 24-month warranty is also included with this product which really makes it a great value knowing that you have that kind of coverage on the product for long-term use. The product has good stability and so does the video recording when playing back I can clearly see that the video recordings are great. Customer Review: “Solid build quality and great packaging. The app is well-designed and very user-friendly. It was to update the firmware via the app during setup. When I ran into a minor voltage issue, the seller provided a quick and effective solution. The three-channel recording is impressive—very sharp footage, and I can easily read license plates even when zoomed in. The emergency collision recording is a great feature to have. Just a heads-up: the included manual is brief, so I’d recommend downloading the full manual from their website for more details.”
Complete Buying Guide for Best 2 Channel Dual Dash Cam For 150
Essential Factors We Consider
When choosing a dual dash cam under $150, focus on core features like resolution, night vision, and ease of installation. Look for models with at least 1080P per channel—ideally 4K front and 2K rear. Night vision should include WDR or IR lights to handle low-light scenarios. GPS and WiFi add convenience, but aren’t mandatory. Always check if the SD card is included, as ongoing costs matter.
Budget Planning
You can get excellent dual-channel performance under $150. Prioritize image quality and reliability over extras like cloud storage or voice control. Avoid cheap brands without warranties or support. Remember to budget for a hardwiring kit if you want 24/7 parking mode—it’s usually around $20–$30 extra.
Final Thoughts
A good dual dash cam under $150 protects your investment and gives peace of mind. Focus on proven brands with positive reviews and solid warranties. Whether you pick a simple 2-channel model or a smarter 360° system, the right choice depends on your driving habits and needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What resolution should I look for in a dual dash cam under $150?
A: Aim for at least 1080P per channel. Many great options offer 4K front and 2K rear within your budget, delivering sharp footage for evidence and peace of mind.
Q: Do I need GPS if I buy a dual dash cam under $150?
A: Not necessarily. GPS helps log speed and location, which can be useful in disputes. However, some affordable models skip it to stay under price limits—opt for WiFi instead if GPS isn’t critical.
Q: Can I use any SD card with these dash cams?
A: Most recommend Class 10 or U3 cards for reliability. Some come with pre-installed cards, so double-check specs. Using incompatible cards may cause recording failures or corruption.
Q: Is hardwiring necessary for parking mode?
A: Yes, for true 24/7 monitoring. Plugging into constant power prevents battery drain. A hardwire kit costs ~$20 and installs discreetly behind your dashboard.
Q: How do I know which dual dash cam is right for my car?
A: Match the number of cameras to your needs: two for front/rear, three if you want interior monitoring. Consider your climate—some perform better in extreme cold or heat. Read reviews for your specific vehicle model if possible.
