Melanie publishes the first articles on AutoGuruz.com — a site she built from frustration with automotive review content that was more affiliate-driven than honest. The founding mission: honest reviews, real results, no dealership BS.

Why I Built AutoGuruz.

I started AutoGuruz because I was tired of being lied to.
Every time I searched for a dash cam recommendation, a truck bed cover review, or a guide on how to properly jack up my car, I’d land on a site that had clearly never touched the product. The “reviews” were rewritten Amazon listings. The “best of” lists were ranked by whoever paid the highest affiliate rate. The how-to guides were full of generic advice that fell apart the second you tried it on an actual vehicle.
I’m not a mechanic. I’m a car owner. I do my own maintenance. I install my own accessories. I detail my own paint. And I’ve wasted enough money on products recommended by sites that had no idea what they were talking about.
So in March 2024, I built AutoGuruz — the site I wished existed. Every product we recommend has been genuinely evaluated. Every guide has been written by someone who has actually done the task. Every comparison uses both products, on the same car, under the same conditions.
We make money through Amazon affiliate commissions when you buy through our links. That’s fully disclosed — always. But those commissions don’t determine our rankings. The best product is always #1, whether it pays us $0.50 or $5.00.
